Chiarugi Mills, beautifully
handcrafted in Florence, Italy are made of the
finest European Beech wood which has been aged a
minimum of 4 years to insure longevity. Several
light coats of lacquer are applied to achieve
durability and smoothness yet allowing the natural
grain the wood to show through. All metal parts,
whether nickel or silver have been applied over
solid brass and have a special anti-tarnish coating.
Unlike most peppermills which crush the corns,
Chiarugi mills cut the peppercorns to release
maximum flavor. The cutting mechanism are made from
a single piece of tempered and case hardened steel
to insure a lifetime of durability. |
